Position Overview:
We are hiring a Property Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day maintenance operations across residential and/or commercial properties. This role is hands-on and requires someone who can independently troubleshoot, repair, and maintain building systems. You will be responsible for keeping properties safe, functional, and tenant-ready. Success in this role means showing up prepared, solving problems quickly, and handling a variety of maintenance tasks without constant supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete general maintenance and repair work including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry tasks
  • Respond to service requests and troubleshoot issues in occupied and vacant units
  • Perform preventative maintenance to reduce equipment and system downtime
  • Prepare units for new tenants including repairs, touch-ups, and basic installations
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
  • Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergency maintenance needs as required

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of property maintenance experience
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
  • Reliable personal vehicle for travel between job sites
  • Own basic hand tools required for maintenance work
  • Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with HVAC systems or EPA certification
  • Prior experience in apartment or multi-unit property maintenance
  • Ability to handle minor appliance repairs

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

  • Work is performed indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing stairs or ladders
  • Exposure to maintenance-related noise, dust, and standard equipment use
  • Must be comfortable working independently across multiple job sites
