📦 Purchasing & Inventory Specialist

📍 Location: Redmond, Oregon
💵 Pay: $22–$28 per hour DOE
🕗 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

🔧 Position Overview

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Purchasing & Inventory Specialist to manage inventory levels, coordinate purchasing activities, and support efficient manufacturing operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to analyze supplier options, and a solid understanding of basic manufacturing and fabrication processes.

📌 Key Responsibilities

📝 Maintain daily records for invoices and shipments to identify replenishment needs.
📊 Track inventory using lists and inventory management or supply‑chain software to calculate monthly and seasonal demand.
📦 Order new supplies accurately while avoiding excessive surplus or inefficiencies.
💲 Analyze suppliers to ensure cost‑effective purchasing decisions.
👥 Plan and oversee the work of Buyers and Purchasing Agents.
📐 Read and understand basic prints used in manufacturing.
🤝 Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.
🛠️ Understand basic manufacturing and fabrication techniques to support purchasing decisions.

🎓 Required Qualifications

✔️ 2 years of purchasing or inventory experience
✔️ Ability to use computers and inventory equipment
✔️ Strong communication and teamwork skills
✔️ Ability to read basic prints and follow manufacturing processes
