The Recruiting Specialist drives applicant activity to support the team in achieving weekly interview goals. They conduct a high level of outreach to new applicants and/or sourced candidates to increase interview volume for the office and begin the initial steps in the Employment Selection Process via phone or in person. The Front Office Coordinator/Recruiting Specialist must possess the ability to type and have a conversation at the same time, and strong phone and interpersonal skills are essential. Must be comfortable with cold calling and sales.

Work alongside the recruiting and management to implement the recruiting strategy to drive the necessary applicant and interview volume.

- Collaborate with other team members to achieve overall office goals.

Make a high level of outbound phone calls to potential candidates.

- Contact new job applicants, Source and contact candidates from job boards and social media, Reach out to past associates and applicants, Complete 30 outbound phone calls per day.

Conduct the initial applicant inquiry over the phone or in-person. Document information in the Company’s automated system. Work with Employment Specialist or leadership to complete a phone interview or schedule an interview for later.

- Complete 42 inquiry calls per week, Schedule 33 interviews per week, & 27 interviews kept per week.

Create a professional first impression for all phone, online, or in-person inquiries.

Answer phones and assist with general associate/client questions and support.

Commit to meeting regularly with Recruiting Manager or leader for continued development.

- Prepare reports and provide metrics/activity levels to Recruiting Manager or leader prior to scheduled meetings.

Cross-trained and able to complete the duties of the Front Office Coordinator.

- Assist at front desk during peak business times, Assist in covering the lunch hour daily, Ability to manage in-office process while maintaining five-star customer service.

Backup support as needed to manage external job boards, postings, and application follow-up.

- Implement application follow-up process to promptly contact new applicants with phone calls, text messages, emails, etc.

Conduct business in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and organizational guidelines.

- Adhere to the company’s systems and policies, Develop a thorough knowledge of the staffing and placement services offered by the company, Maintain an understanding of various employment-related documents and materials, Develop and maintain professional knowledge of the market and staffing industry.
