Position: Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Location: Whitestown, Indiana 
Position Type: Evaluation to Hire
Schedule: 10 hour shifts, 8 hours on Fridays (1st shift – Monday–Friday with early out on Fridays)
Pay:

• $24.00/hr while on contract
• $25.00–$27.00/hr upon full-time hire

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and professional Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support daily warehouse and production operations. This is a hands-on, “catch-all” role that plays a key part in keeping product moving efficiently in and out of the facility.

This position will split time between operating a forklift and assisting with general shipping, receiving, loading, and unloading tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including verifying and organizing product
• Operate a forklift as needed (not a full-time forklift role)
• Support warehouse operations wherever needed to keep workflow moving
• Work with team members across departments to ensure timely and accurate shipments
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

What We’re Looking For:

• Prior experience in a shipping and receiving role
• Forklift experience preferred
• Strong basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
• Comfortable using technology (computers, tablets, or inventory systems)
• Team player with a willingness to jump in and help wherever needed
• Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
