Job Summary:
The Accounting Assistant will support the accounting department with day-to-day financial tasks, including data entry, invoice processing, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, and comfortable working with numbers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Enter and maintain accurate financial data in accounting systems
• Assist with invoicing, billing, and collections
• Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies
• Prepare and maintain financial reports and spreadsheets
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Maintain organized and up-to-date filing systems
• Assist with audits and other accounting projects as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred)
• 1–2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
