Fabricator/Fitter 

 Broussard, LA | ($25–$30/hr. DOE)

 

We are hiring a skilled Fabricator/Fitter for a busy oilfield fabrication shop in Broussard. This role is ideal for someone experienced in reading blueprints and working with multiple welding processes and materials.

Duties:

• Read and interpret blueprints for fabrication projects
• Fit and weld components to specifications
• Perform MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux Core welding
• Work with steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
• Assist with general shop fabrication and assembly

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a fabricator/fitter
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Experience with multiple welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux Core)
• Knowledge of working with various metals
• Strong attention to detail and safety

Schedule:

• Shop-based position (hours may vary based on workload)

Pay:

• $25–$30 per hour, depending on experience
