Customer Service/Packager – $13/hr

 

Express Employment Professionals of Champaign is a professional staffing company dedicated to helping local businesses find great people. We are currently seeking a Customer Service Representative/Packager for an Air Filter Start-up to join a growing team in Urbana, IL.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and fulfill orders in a timely, precise manner and properly recorded
• Pick/pack orders, receive/stow product, ensure inventory accuracy, and unload/load trucks
• Pre-pack filters and face masks, make boxes and replenish inventories
• Use table saw to make custom filters
• Note inventory levels and communicate with supervisors regarding potential issues
• Follow procedures and standard for attendance, workplace cleanliness, health & safety, quality, and inventory management
• Perform weekly inventory count and report to supervisor
• Assist Fulfillment Lead/Supervisor with daily management (allocating labor, leading meetings, assigning job duties, coaching, and training) when needed

Qualifications: 

• High School diploma or GED
• Must be able to adjust shifts according to company’s business needs
• Must be able to work overtime as required
• Able to read and take direction in English
• Must be able to lift to 50lbs
• Must be able to stand and walk for the entire shift (up to 8 hours)
• Must be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
