Location: Ocala, FL 34482 (West Ocala )
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Compensation: $55,000–$60,000 annually (DOE)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper to support our growing manufacturing operation. This role is critical to the day-to-day financial health of the company and will serve as the primary accounting resource on site. Extensive hands-on experience working within SAP is required, as a key objective of this hire is to strengthen internal accounting processes and accuracy within the SAP environment.

The ideal candidate brings end-to-end bookkeeping experience in a manufacturing setting, is comfortable owning the full accounting cycle, and understands the financial complexities of inventory, cost accounting, and production-driven operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping duties including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Perform month-end and year-end close processes with accuracy and timeliness
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor management and customer invoicing
• Process payroll and related filings in coordination with external partners as needed
• Maintain and reconcile inventory accounts, including raw materials, WIP, and finished goods within SAP
• Support manufacturing cost accounting, job costing, and variance analysis
• Track and reconcile fixed assets and depreciation schedules
• Prepare financial reports including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
• Ensure compliance with sales tax, use tax, and other applicable regulatory requirements
• Assist with audits, financial reviews, and documentation requests
• Partner with leadership to improve accounting workflows, controls, and SAP utilization
• Serve as the internal SAP accounting subject-matter resource for transactional accuracy and reporting

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Strong SAP experience required (hands-on, daily use within accounting modules)
• Solid understanding of inventory accounting, cost accounting, and manufacturing operations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard accounting software tools
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of accounting functions
• High level of professionalism and discretion with confidential information

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Experience supporting audits and working with external CPAs
• Familiarity with process improvement or ERP optimization initiatives
