Powder Coater Operator – 1st Shift | Competitive Pay + Growth Opportunity

We’re hiring a Powder Coater Operator for a growing manufacturing facility in Kansas City, KS. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, ideal for someone who enjoys working with equipment and takes pride in producing quality finished products.

Schedule & Pay:

$18.00–$20.00/hour | 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00AM–2:30PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate powder coating equipment including guns, hoppers, and booth systems
• Perform surface preparation, coating application, curing, and inspection
• Ensure consistent quality and proper finish on all coated components
• Maintain production efficiency and meet output goals
• Clean and perform preventative maintenance on equipment
• Follow 5S standards and maintain a clean work environment

Requirements:

• Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required
• Powder coating experience is a plus
• Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand for extended periods (8–10 hours per shift)
• Commitment to following safety procedures and guidelines
