OVERVIEW
Seeking a General Service Diesel Technician to perform preventive maintenance and general service on tractor trailers, heavy-duty trucks, and similar diesel vehicles with air brakes. The role includes brake work, repairing airlines, inspections, diagnostics, and other general repairs. Candidates must provide their own tools.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform routine maintenance and general service, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections and repairs, and airline repairs
• Conduct diagnostics and inspections to identify mechanical issues and recommend appropriate repairs
• Maintain a working knowledge of industry best practices for diesel vehicle service
• Complete required paperwork accurately for service records
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety

REQUIREMENTS
• 5+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic on heavy-duty trucks preferred
• Understanding of diesel engines and air brake systems required
• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a physically demanding environment
• Must have own tools
• Willingness to participate in in-house training as needed
• Certification from a trade or technical school in Automotive or Diesel Mechanics desirable
