About the Opportunity

Are you an experienced landscaping professional who enjoys working outdoors, operating equipment, and taking pride in a job well done? A reputable company in the Scott Depot area is looking for a dependable, hardworking Landscaping Team Lead with sprayer experience to join its team!

This is a hands-on opportunity for someone with strong landscaping skills who can operate equipment, help keep projects running smoothly, and lead by example.

This is a year-round opportunity, not a seasonal position! The company has plenty of work available during the winter months, offering the potential for consistent, long-term employment throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead by example while assisting with daily landscaping operations, including mowing, trimming, planting, and general grounds maintenance.
• Operate landscaping and light construction equipment, including bobcats, tillers, sod cutters, weed eaters, and augers.
• Operate landscaping sprayers and perform spraying applications; previous sprayer experience is required.
• Drive company trucks and trailers; experience driving a manual transmission is required.
• Ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and professionally.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and report any repair needs.
• Work on a variety of residential and commercial landscaping projects.

Qualifications

• Previous landscaping experience is required; leadership experience is preferred.
• Previous experience operating landscaping sprayers is required.
• Knowledge of landscaping techniques, outdoor maintenance, and safe work practices.
• Experience operating landscaping and light construction equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to drive a manual-transmission vehicle.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Dependable, hardworking, and committed to quality work.
• Steel-toe boots are required.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Schedule and Work Environment

• Full-time schedule with an 8:00 AM start in Scott Depot, WV.
• Some Saturdays and occasional on-call availability may be required.
• Outdoor work in heat, cold, humidity, and other changing weather conditions.
• Work at both residential and commercial job sites.
• Year-round work with plenty of projects available during the winter months.
