Assembly Technician – 1st and 3rd Shift (BOE)

A manufacturing company in the Norton Shores and Grand Haven area is seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to perform detailed, high-quality assembly in a fast-paced production environment.

Location: Grand Haven & Norton Shores, MI

Shift: 3rd Shift | 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM; 9:50 PM - 6:00 AM

          1st Shift | 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM; 5:50 AM - 2:00 PM

Pay: BOE 

        Entry Level - $16.50/hr

        Skilled/More Experienced - up to $25.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Assemble complex mechanical components to specification
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Use hand tools and equipment to complete assemblies
• Ensure quality and accuracy throughout the build process
• Maintain a clean, organized work area

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing or assembly experience (complex/mechanical assembly preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and instructions
• Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge
• Team-oriented with a strong work ethic

Work Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (occasionally)
• Comfortable standing, bending, and working with hands throughout the shift
• Willingness to work overtime or weekends as needed
