Residential Advocate (A2203)

Salary: $16.00-18.00
GENERAL FUNCTIONS:
Provide client-centered, individualized, and trauma-informed support, advocacy, and case management, with a focus on delivery of services for individuals and families in residential or supportive settings.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
60% – Provide individual and group support using multiple methods and modalities. Facilitate case management, crisis counseling, safety planning, advocacy, and follow-up services. Support clients in identifying their unique goals and deliver related services to help clients overcome barriers to achieving these goals.
20% – Participate in meetings and events related to the organization, programming, case reviews, and community-based partnerships. Complete and maintain required professional training and continuing education necessary to maintain certifications throughout tenure in the role.
15% – Track and maintain regular statistical information and case notes in organizational databases.
5% – Perform other duties as assigned related to client services and program needs.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Associate Degree in a related field required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred in a related field with working knowledge of program best practices.
Other: Fluency in languages other than English and cultural knowledge are a plus. Must have a valid driver’s license as appropriate per job requirements. Complete required professional training and become a registered professional within the first year of employment.
