Welder – Huntley, IL

Our client in Huntley is seeking a skilled Welder to join their fabrication team. This role involves welding, assembling, and preparing metal components used in hydraulic reservoirs, tanks, and steel weldments within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Schedule & Pay

• Hours: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday–Friday
• Pay: $23+ per hour, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MIG/TIG/ARC welding and assemble metal components for tanks, reservoirs, and steel weldments.
• Read and interpret blueprints to accurately measure, cut, and prepare metal parts.
• Operate fabrication equipment such as saws, shears, presses, drills, and grinders.
• Inspect welds and prepare surfaces through grinding, cleaning, and preheating.

Qualifications

• Proficient in MIG and TIG welding with industrial fabrication experience.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings.
• Skilled with metalworking tools and machinery for cutting, shaping, and prepping materials.
• Welding certifications and experience with stainless and mild steel preferred.
