Wood Spray Technician

Located in Byron Center, MI

Salary: 19.50-23.50/hr

Wood Spray Technician Job Summary: An industrial furniture manufacturing company is looking for a skilled painter to join its growing team. This individual will act as a Wood Spray Technician applying spray stains, and sealers, to products. This is a first shift position with a wealth of overtime opportunities. 

 

Wood Spray Technician Responsibilities

• Set up spray booths and equipment
• Applies spray stains, sealers, and top coats.
• Matches stains and finishes to custom colors.

 

Schedule: First shift, 6am-2:30pm, Monday-Friday. Overtime runs 5am-3:30pm plus Saturday hours as needed.

Type: Full time, evaluation hire

 

Wood Spray Technician Qualifications:

• Six months of past spray paint/staining experience is required. 
• Ability to manage equipment and prolonged spraying.
• Lift up to 50 pounds repetitively. 
• Frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting and lifting above shoulder height. 

  

Location: Byron Center, MI

Pay: $19.50-$23.50/hr, based on experience
