Are you mechanically inclined and enjoy hands-on assembly work? A growing Springfield manufacturer is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to build electrical and mechanical components, wiring assemblies, control panels, and machine systems in a clean, team-oriented production environment.
Schedule
- Monday-Thursday
- 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Optional overtime on Fridays
- Three-day weekends every week
Pay
What You'll Do
- Assemble electrical and mechanical components, subassemblies, and machine systems
- Install wiring harnesses, terminals, switches, and electrical components
- Mount components to frames, assemblies, and control panels
- Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, and schematics
- Follow written work instructions and production specifications
- Inspect completed assemblies for quality and accuracy
- Use hand tools, measuring devices, and basic shop equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Qualifications
- Electro-mechanical or mechanical assembly experience preferred
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Basic electrical and mechanical knowledge
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Ability to use measuring instruments and perform basic shop math
- Reliable attendance and solid work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements
- Lift and move 20-40 pounds regularly
- Stand for extended periods throughout the shift
- Frequent hand and arm movement for assembly and wiring tasks
- Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
