Looking for a stable warehouse position with a three-day weekend every week? A Springfield-area manufacturer is seeking a dependable Material Handler / Warehouse Associate to support inventory control, production support, and material handling operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Schedule
- Monday-Thursday
- 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Full-Time
- Overtime available on Fridays as needed
Pay
What You'll Do
- Pick, stage, and deliver materials for production and customer orders
- Supply production lines with materials and line-stock inventory
- Operate stand-up forklifts to move materials throughout the facility
- Perform cycle counts and support inventory accuracy initiatives
- Label and organize bins, racks, parts, and storage locations
- Support Kanban and Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) replenishment systems
- Identify and process scrap and nonconforming materials
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Qualifications
- Stand-up forklift experience required
- Previous warehouse, material handling, inventory control, or logistics experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain accurate inventory records
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements
- Stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift
- Lift and move materials as required
- Safely operate warehouse equipment for extended periods
- Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
