Forklift Operator

We are seeking a dependable Forklift Operator to support warehouse and material handling operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for loading and unloading materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting shipping activities, and ensuring safe operation of warehouse equipment.

Job Duties

• Operate forklift equipment safely and efficiently throughout the facility
• Load and unload flatbed trailers and incoming shipments
• Transport, organize, and stage materials for production and shipping activities
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and material locations
• Utilize tablets or warehouse technology systems to track orders and inventory movements
• Verify materials, quantities, and shipment information for accuracy
• Perform routine forklift inspections and report maintenance concerns
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas following workplace housekeeping standards
• Follow all company safety procedures and operating guidelines
• Assist with additional warehouse and material handling duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience preferred
• Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and dependable transportation
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform material handling activities throughout the shift
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as required
• Ability to safely operate forklift equipment for extended periods
• Ability to work in a busy warehouse environment, including varying temperatures and conditions
• Ability to perform physical labor while maintaining productivity standards

Schedule

• Full-time position
• First Shift
• Monday through Friday
• Hours: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
