About the Role
This Paint Spray Technician role works in an automotive manufacturing environment preparing and painting truck beds and related surfaces in Wentzville, Missouri. The position involves surface prep, spray application using paint spray guns, and working with robotic paint systems to ensure high-quality, consistent finishes across all shifts.

What You'll Be Doing

• Prepare truck beds and surfaces by cleaning, sanding, sealing, priming, and patching prior to painting
• Apply coatings using paint spray guns and various materials including primers, polyurethanes, and lacquer finishes
• Operate and support robotic paint systems and automated spray equipment
• Read and follow blueprints, work instructions, and quality specifications
• Inspect finished surfaces to ensure proper coverage, thickness, and finish quality

To Be Considered, You Must Meet the Following:

• Direct experience as a paint spray technician, industrial painter, or automotive painter
• Valid driver’s license
• Mechanical and technical aptitude with paint spray equipment
• Knowledge of robotic systems and robot programming
• Familiarity with TS and ISO quality requirements
• Blueprint reading ability and basic computer skills
• Ability to read, understand, and clearly communicate work instructions
