Assembly Test Technician

Located in Round Rock, TX

Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring Assembly Test Technician for a growing engineering and testing company in the Georgetown area. This position supports hands-on assembly and basic testing of cooling system components in a clean, organized lab environment.

We are seeking reliable individuals who are detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working with tools and following instructions.

 

Schedule: Full Time | Monday – Friday

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00/hr (DOE)

 

Key Responsibilities:

Associates will support testing and validation processes while ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met. Responsibilities may include:

• Reading and following detailed work instructions
• Using basic hand tools to complete assembly tasks
• Assembling cooling components including radiators, fans, brackets, hoses, heat shrink, and screw assemblies
• Performing basic testing and validation such as leak testing and inspection
• Monitoring work for defects or irregularities and reporting issues
• Collecting and documenting basic data as needed
• Supporting general lab and production activities as required
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment

 

What We’re Looking For

• Strong attention to detail (critical for accurate testing and data collection)
• Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Mechanically inclined with a hands-on mindset
• Reliable and process-driven
• Organized with clear documentation skills
• Previous assembly, manufacturing, or testing experience is a plus
• Experience with quality control or inspection is a plus

 

Skills & Equipment Used

• Basic hand and power tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, drills)
• Testing equipment (gauges, sensors, measurement devices)
• Basic computer skills for data entry (Excel or similar systems)
• Assembly tools and components

 

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift 10–30 lbs regularly
• Frequent use of hands for assembly and equipment operation
• Comfortable working in a lab and light industrial environment
• Ability to bend, stoop, and move between workstations
