Job Title: Experienced Houseboat Carpenter
Pay: $20–$25/hour (based on experience)

Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced Houseboat Carpenters to work on houseboat construction and renovation projects. This role involves a variety of hands-on tasks including framing, finishing, repairs, and general carpentry in a marine environment. Ideal candidates will have strong construction skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general construction duties on houseboats, including framing, decking, and finishing work
• Install and repair structures, fixtures, and materials
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Assist with remodeling, upgrades, and repairs as needed
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and safety regulations
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2+ years of general construction / carpentry experience required
• Experience with carpentry, remodeling, or marine construction
• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
• Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and follow direction

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working on boats, docks, or marine structures
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, or finishing work

Work Environment:

• Outdoor and indoor work on or near water
• Physical, hands-on role requiring lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
