CNC Machine Operator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to operate bar machine lathes and ensure the production of high-quality components in accordance with company specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate bar machine lathes in accordance with company standards and production requirements
• Perform quality control inspections to ensure parts meet specifications
• Utilize basic inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Maintain a clean and organized work area; assist with general shop cleaning as needed
• Monitor machine performance and report any issues to supervisors

Requirements:

• Previous CNC machining experience required
• Familiarity with bar machine lathe operations preferred
• Knowledge of basic inspection tools and quality standards
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Good visual acuity and manual dexterity

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Frequent bending, twisting, and reaching required
• Comfortable working in a shop environment that may be dusty or dirty
