Case Manager / Paralegal

Located in Bloomington, IN

Salary: $21.63 / hr

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Paralegal to support our growing caseload and help provide exceptional service to our clients. If you are organized, client-focused, and ready to grow in the legal field, we’d love to hear from you!

Job Summary:

• Talk with potential new clients and evaluate their situations
• Manage cases from beginning to end using case management software (training provided)
• Scan and file correspondence according to firm standards
• Obtain medical records, police reports, ambulance records, and damage photos
• Maintain strong client communication through follow-up calls and correspondence
• Research potential defendants and assist with case development
• Draft legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, discovery, and demand letters
• Prepare medical chronologies, mediation materials, and billing summaries
• Negotiate healthcare liens and assist with lien resolution
• Manage deadlines, calendars, and case activity proactively
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Experience Preferred:

• 2 Years Law office and Legal case management experience preferred

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Strong reading, writing, customer service, and critical thinking skills
• Must successfully complete skills testing
• Excellent organization and communication abilities
• Ability to multitask and manage deadlines effectively
• Light lifting required
• Must be able to sit at a desk for the majority of the shift

Pay: $21.63/hr

Schedule: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM | Monday-Friday
