Position: Industrial Painter

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled Industrial Painter for a leading company here in OKC! As an Industrial Painter, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying primers and paints, and ensuring a high-quality finish on various industrial equipment and structures. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be crucial in maintaining our standards of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping, sanding, and masking as necessary.
• Apply primers and paints using spray guns, brushes, and rollers.
• Ensure proper adhesion and coverage of paint through knowledge of surface preparation and application techniques.
• Maintain and clean painting equipment and tools regularly.
• Inspect work for quality and consistency.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Industrial Painter or similar role in an industrial setting.
• Knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Physical stamina and strength to work in various positions, including bending, kneeling, and working overhead.

Pay: $18-$20/hr
