Shipping Clerk (Office-Based)
Location: South Pharr, TX
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $11.02 per hour

Position Overview:
The Shipping Clerk is responsible for monitoring and coordinating all daily outbound shipping activities . This role works closely with the transportation team to ensure accurate scheduling, documentation, and communication of all shipments. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare shipping labels, documentation, and bills of lading for all outbound shipments
• Coordinate and communicate daily dock schedules with internal teams
• Check drivers in and out of the facility for outbound shipments
• Collaborate with carriers to schedule shipping times and manage shipment volumes
• Communicate daily shipping activity and end-of-day results to the Grand Rapids transportation team
• Track and report daily shipping volumes and performance metrics
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with shipping procedures
• Support additional shipping and administrative tasks as needed

Required Education & Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of warehouse or shipping experience
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Experience in logistics, distribution, or shipping operations preferred

Required Skills:

• Basic mathematical and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience with Oracle or other warehouse management/mobile applications
