This key leadership position carries broad responsibility across Human Resources, Finance, Marketing collaboration, and overall business performance. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and committed to ensuring both companies operate efficiently and effectively.

 

Candidates with previous experience in Operations, Finance, or those with strong strategic business planning backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

• Oversee day-to-day operations across two companies to ensure smooth business performance

• Ensure all orders are processed and shipped daily

• Monitor and maintain functionality of the phone system and company website

• Ensure products consistently meet client expectations and quality standards

• Utilize AI tools and platforms to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and support data‑driven decision‑making
• Apply knowledge of biochar and its applications to support product development, operations, or strategic initiatives

Human Resources & Financial Oversight

• Support HR functions, including employee coordination and internal communication

• Oversee financial responsibilities such as ensuring bills are paid accurately and on time

• Maintain confidentiality and uphold company policies and procedures

Cross-Department Collaboration

• Work closely with the Marketing team to support business initiatives and brand consistency

• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure alignment across all operational areas

Business Continuity & Accountability

• Take initiative in identifying operational needs and resolving issues proactively

• Monitor email after hours to address urgent matters as they arise

• Uphold a high level of personal accountability and dedication to company success

Qualifications & Skills

• Familiarity with biochar, its uses, and its relevance to business operations
• Ability to leverage AI tools to enhance efficiency, automate tasks, or support strategic planning

• Strong leadership and organizational abilities

• Experience in operations, HR, finance, or multi-department management

• Ability to manage multiple priorities across two business entities

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• High level of initiative, reliability, and professional accountability

• Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with shifting needs
