Pre-Rigging Technician – Injection Plastic Molding
Location: Asheville, NC Area
Pay: $18/hr

1st shift Schedule: Mon–Thurs 5:00am to 3:00pm

We’re seeking a dependable Pre-Rigging Technician to assist with preparing and inspecting molded parts before final assembly. This hands-on role is perfect for someone with strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to quality and safety.

 

What You’ll Do

Maintain and promote a safe, clean, and efficient work environment

Pre-rig all molded boats and ensure quality standards are met

Inspect hulls for sharp edges, missing parts, and clean cutouts

Use hand and power tools to cut, trim, and shape kayak hulls

Complete production and quality paperwork accurately

Communicate with molding operators and management about safety or quality concerns

Assist with supply requisitions and other assigned production tasks

 

What We’re Looking For

High School Diploma or GED

Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort using tools

Basic computer and math skills

Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow directions

Team player with good communication skills

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs (60lbs- team lift)

Knowledge of safety and production practices
