Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled Machinist for a local manufacturing facility in Canonsburg, PA. This is a great opportunity for someone with machining experience who enjoys precision work, blueprints, and hands-on production in a fast-paced machine shop environment.

⚙️ WHAT YOU’LL DO:
• Set up and operate manual, automatic, and CNC machines
• Read and interpret blueprints, CAD/CAM files, and technical drawings
• Perform turning, milling, drilling, shaping, and grinding operations
• Adjust tooling and machine settings for accurate production
• Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and spec compliance
• Communicate with supervisors regarding production or quality issues
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

🧠 WHAT YOU BRING:
✔ Experience with manual and CNC machining equipment
✔ Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
✔ Skilled with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures)
✔ Strong attention to detail and quality standards
✔ Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office required)
✔ ERP system experience (Epicor or similar) preferred
✔ Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

💪 PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Standing for 8+ hour shifts
• Frequent bending, reaching, and ladder use
• Manufacturing environment with varying temperatures

🎓 REQUIREMENTS:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Machining apprenticeship, technical training, or equivalent experience
