Express Employment Professionals-Farmingdale, NY is looking for a reliable Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory handling, efficient order fulfillment, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment. Previous experience in plumbing supplies and air conditioning distribution, or related industries is strongly preferred.

The schedule is Monday-Friday, 7am-5pmFULL TIME, .

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and assist with receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping of plumbing materials and supplies.
• Ensure all orders are filled accurately and delivered on time.
• Provide direction and hands-on support to warehouse associates.
• Oversee inventory accuracy through cycle counts and proper product storage.
• Coordinate with purchasing and sales teams regarding stock levels and order discrepancies.
• Manage loading/unloading of trucks and verify all incoming/outgoing shipments.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (certification preferred).
• Ensure proper maintenance and safe operation of all equipment.
• Support walk-in customers and will-call orders when needed.
• Work with delivery drivers and vendors to ensure smooth logistics.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of warehouse experience, preferably in plumbing, construction, or industrial supply.
• 3+ years in a lead or supervisory role is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and shipping/receiving processes.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklift certified-sit down).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and time-management skills.
• Ability to lift to 45lbs-50lbs and work on your feet throughout the day.
