Location: Mills River Area Pay: $20 – $23 per hour Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
A manufacturing company in the Mills River area is seeking a CNC Lathe Operator to join their production team. This role is responsible for operating CNC lathe machines to produce precision parts while maintaining quality and production standards.
Operate CNC lathe machines to produce parts according to specifications
Perform machine setups including tooling adjustments, offsets, and program selection
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Inspect finished parts using precision measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers
Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report concerns to supervisors
Work with the production team to meet daily production goals
Monitor tooling and supplies and report when replacements are needed
Previous experience operating CNC machines (lathe experience preferred)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Experience using precision measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work in a manufacturing or production environment
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM $20 – $23 per hour depending on experience
