Department: Quality Control Reports To: QSE Manager Status: Hourly
Role Overview Supports quality assurance across manufacturing by performing inspections, audits, and contributing to continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct floor audits and product inspections (first article, in-process, final).
Document findings, track corrective actions, and support root cause analysis.
Interpret engineering drawings and quality specs.
Maintain inspection tools and ensure traceability.
Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Vendors.
Qualifications
High school diploma (college preferred).
8+ years in inspection; 2–3 years as a Quality Tech.
Strong skills in inspection tools, documentation, and quality systems.
Skills
Proficient in math, reasoning, and interpreting technical documents.
Effective communicator and problem-solver.
Physical Demands & Environment
Lift up to 40 lbs., stand for long periods, work in a manufacturing setting with moderate noise and moving equipment.
Tools & PPE
Uses calipers, gauges, computers. Requires steel toe shoes, safety glasses, and appropriate attire.
Pay will depend on experience but starts between $16-$18/hr!!!
