About the Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to support our team on a temporary basis for approximately 2 months. This role is ideal for someone who is experienced, reliable, and comfortable jumping into payroll operations with minimal ramp-up time. Hours are flexible, making this a great short-term opportunity for someone looking to supplement their schedule.

Key Responsibilities
• Process weekly payroll accurately and on time
• Review and verify timesheets, wage rates, and deductions
• Handle payroll adjustments, corrections, and recordkeeping
• Assist with prevailing wage reporting and compliance
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure payroll accuracy
• Communicate with employees regarding payroll questions as needed

Required Qualifications
• 3+ years of payroll experience
• 1+ year of experience with prevailing wage payroll
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Preferred Skills
• Experience with QuickBooks Online
• Experience with Paychex payroll software
• General HR experience
