Position Overview

A growing commercial supply distributor is seeking a Commercial Supply Warehouse Lead to oversee daily branch and warehouse operations while supporting sales performance, profitability, and customer experience. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for leading warehouse, counter, delivery, and customer-facing operations while building strong customer relationships.

This position plays a key role in driving operational efficiency, team development, and customer satisfaction while aligning with the company’s mission to “Make the tech in the truck more efficient” and its vision to “Enhance lives through solutions.”

 

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $26–$29/hour (based on experience)

Job Description

• Lead and oversee daily branch and warehouse operations
• Assist counter, warehouse, and delivery teams as needed to serve customers and provide solutions
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, applications, and research
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships while supporting outside sales initiatives
• Establish, communicate, and model performance expectations for team members
• Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance discussions
• Take corrective action when necessary and recognize employee performance
• Ensure team members are informed on operational updates, safety standards, and company policies
• Maintain appropriate staffing levels by creating schedules and managing time-off requests
• Promote a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory, lead, or senior service associate role within a commercial supply, distribution, or similar environment
• Strong understanding of products, processes, customers, and decision-makers in a B2B setting
• Experience supporting warehouse operations, counter sales, and delivery teams
• General knowledge of inventory management systems (RF-based systems a plus)
• Valid state driver’s license with a safe driving record
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills
• Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment
