Executive Level - Human Resource Manager

Salary: $85k-$90k

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources professional with a strong construction or manufacturing background to support our growing team. This role will manage HR functions for field staff and office employees, ensuring compliance, smooth operations, and a positive work environment across multiple job sites. This role also includes office management and is the perfect fit for a team player, multi-tasker, and people-centric leader!

 

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire construction laborers, skilled trades, foremen, and project staff
• Coordinate onboarding, job‐site orientation, and safety training
• Maintain employee records, certifications, and compliance documentation
• Process timesheets, job codes, and assist with weekly payroll
• Support employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions
• Assist with workers’ compensation claims, incident reports, and return‐to‐work plans
• Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and leadership on staffing needs
• Oversee HRIS/ATS entry, benefits enrollment, and policy compliance
• Ensure all hiring and HR processes meet OSHA and state requirements

 

Qualifications

• 5+ years Human Resources experience (required)
• Construction or Manufacturing industry experience (required)
• Strong understanding of field operations, job‐site culture, and construction labor needs
• Knowledge of OSHA compliance, safety programs, and trade certifications
• Experience with recruiting, onboarding, and payroll coordination
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem‐solving skills
• HR certification (PHR/SHRM‐CP) is a plus but not required
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus (Not Required)
