Automotive Technician / Mechanic – 1st Shift📍 Springfield, IL | 💰 $18–$23/hr | 💼 Full-Time
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician / Mechanic to join our team in the Springfield area. This role is ideal for someone with experience in electronic and mechanical diagnostics and a passion for keeping vehicles running safely and efficiently.
Perform mechanical and electronic diagnostics on vehicles
Explain diagnosis and required repairs clearly to customers
Repair and maintain vehicle systems, including:
Engine & transmission
Electrical & steering systems
Suspension & brakes
Air conditioning and climate systems
Maintain accurate work orders and service records
Ensure safety and quality in all repairs
Previous automotive repair experience
Strong skills in diagnostics and problem-solving
Ability to communicate repair needs to customers clearly
Reliable and detail-oriented
Comfortable working independently or on a team
💰 Pay: $18–$23/hr based on experience🕘 Shift: 1st shift, full-time
