Machine Set-Up Technician – $25–$30/hr DOE
Schedule: Monday – Thursday | 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM | Overtime Potential
Location: South Asheville, NC
Full-Time | Onsite

A manufacturing company in the South Asheville area is seeking an experienced Machine Set-Up Technician to support production operations. This role is responsible for preparing, adjusting, and maintaining production machinery to ensure efficient operation and consistent product quality.

The right candidate will be mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable troubleshooting equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Set up and adjust production machines, molds, and tooling according to specifications
• Install and change components based on blueprints or production requirements
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machinery
• Troubleshoot equipment issues during production and implement corrective actions
• Inspect parts and samples to ensure they meet quality standards and tolerances
• Support production with material changes, tool changes, and operational adjustments
• Maintain accurate production information in the Epicor ERP system
• Keep work areas clean and follow all safety protocols

What They’re Looking For

• Experience setting up or maintaining manufacturing equipment (injection molding, CNC, or similar machinery preferred)
• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably Epicor
• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to read schematics or technical specifications
• Ability to lift 40–75 lbs and stay active throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
