Job Title: Driver / Event Setup Technician Location: Dallas, TX Pay: $18/hour Schedule: Event-based schedule (flexibility required). Full-time hours are consistently available.
Job Overview We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Driver / Event Setup Technician to support event operations throughout the Dallas area. This role is responsible for safely driving a company box truck to event locations, assisting with the setup and breakdown of event equipment, and ensuring clients have a great experience from start to finish. The ideal candidate is adaptable, reliable, and comfortable interacting with customers while working in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate a 26-40 ft non-CDL box truck to transport event equipment to and from various event locations.
Load, unload, and set up event equipment at customer sites.
Break down and repack equipment after events while ensuring everything is accounted for and secured.
Interact with customers during events to provide assistance and ensure a positive experience.
Perform basic troubleshooting on equipment, including minor electrical or connection issues.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and vehicles.
Follow safety procedures and company guidelines while on the road and at event sites.
Adapt to different event environments and assist with various operational needs as required.
Requirements
Experience driving 26–40 ft box trucks (non-CDL).
Comfortable lifting and moving equipment up to 50 lbs regularly.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on event timing, including evenings and weekends.
Reliable transportation to report to the Dallas location.
Ability to problem solve and perform minor electrical or equipment troubleshooting.
