Accounting Supervisor

Location: Honolulu, HI

Compensation: $60,000–$70,000 (DOE)

 

Join a team where you can make an immediate impact. In this role, you’ll support and step in for the Accounting Manager when needed, lead core accounting operations, strengthen GL accuracy, and help guide a blended local/offshore team.

What You’ll Do

• Lead month‑end and year‑end close, including GL reconciliations, accruals, reclasses, and financial review.

• Support and guide AP/AR and general accounting staff across Oahu and Hilo, stepping in when leadership is unavailable.

• Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely, accurate schedules and documentation.

• Improve accounting workflows, strengthen controls, and help transition work from offshore to local team members.

• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners on reporting, budgeting, and resolving accounting issues.

 

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of hands‑on GL experience with strong reconciliation and accounting operations skills.

• Leadership or senior‑level experience with the ability to support and guide a diverse, multi‑location team.

• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
