Monday Friday / 6:00am-2:30pm 

A cement manufacturing company is seeking a Lab Technician to support quality control operations by performing basic testing and recording production data. This role is responsible for ensuring materials are properly measured, blended, and tested to maintain product quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with measurements and scales, and able to work in a laboratory setting within a manufacturing environment. Lab Technician Responsibilities

• Perform basic quality control (QC) tests on cement materials
• Accurately weigh materials and measure correct amounts using laboratory scales
• Prepare and mix samples with the appropriate water and ingredients for testing
• Ensure samples are properly blended according to testing procedures
• Record and capture testing data accurately for quality tracking
• Monitor materials to ensure they meet quality standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the lab area
• Follow safety procedures when handling materials in a dusty manufacturing environment
• Report any irregularities or concerns with materials or test results

Lab Technician Requirements

• Previous lab technician or quality control experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of the cement or construction materials industry is a plus
• Strong math skills and ability to work with measurements and scales
• Attention to detail and ability to follow testing procedures
• Comfortable working in a lab environment within a manufacturing facility
• Ability to work in a dusty environment and follow safety guidelines
