Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented I-CAR Certified Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in collision repair, structural repairs, welding, and frame machine operation. This role requires the ability to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform collision repairs including structural and non-structural repairs

• Operate frame machines to measure and restore vehicle frames to manufacturer specifications

• Perform welding and metal repairs using appropriate techniques and equipment

• Repair, replace, and align damaged vehicle panels and components

• Remove and reinstall vehicle parts such as bumpers, doors, fenders, and trim

• Ensure repairs meet I-CAR and manufacturer standards

• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and safety

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

• Communicate with service advisors and management regarding repair progress

Qualifications:

• I-CAR Certification required

• Proven experience in auto body and collision repair

• Experience with frame machine operation

• Welding experience required

• Ability to read repair estimates and follow manufacturer repair procedures

• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Ability to stand, bend, and work in various positions for extended periods

• Ability to safely operate shop equipment and tools

Preferred Skills:

• ASE certification (a plus)

• Experience with aluminum repair

• Knowledge of modern vehicle safety systems and repair techniques
