Role Description: The Pool and Spa Technician is responsible for repairing and maintaining the resort's aquatic facilities, including hot tubs in the rental management program. This role requires outstanding customer service to both guests and owners and the ability to meet the physical demands of the job. 

 

General Responsibilities:

• Maintain and ensure water quality in all pools and spas
• Manage and use chemicals, pool, and spa equipment
• Track water quality using public contacts and paperwork
• Operate mechanical and motorized equipment
• Resolve guest requests, issues, and complaints with excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
• Perform additional responsibilities and duties as assigned

Skills/Traits:

• Experience in pool and spa repair and maintenance preferred
• CPO certified pool operator certification preferred
• Willingness to work evenings, holidays, and extended hours as requested
• Ability to work in a standing position for long periods (up to 5 hours)
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 30 pounds, occasionally lift/move 50 pounds
