Monday - Friday /  7am-3pm/3pm- 11pm/11pm-7am 

 Must be open to all 3 shifts

 

A packaging company is seeking a Machine Operator (Utility) to safely and efficiently produce high-quality paper bags on assigned machines. This role is responsible for operating production equipment, maintaining machine cleanliness, ensuring product quality meets customer expectations, and supporting overall production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Machine Operator Responsibilities:

• Safely operate assigned machines to produce high-quality paper bags at standard production rates
• Ensure safety is the top priority while performing all job duties
• Monitor production to ensure finished products meet customer quality expectations
• Perform finished product palletization and inspect completed bags for quality and consistency
• Maintain cleanliness of the machine and surrounding work area throughout the shift
• Communicate with Supervisors, Operating Technicians, and maintenance personnel regarding machine issues or production concerns
• Coordinate with utilities and baler operators to ensure materials are available when needed
• Maintain proper machine operation and support efficient manufacturing processes
• Complete all required paperwork accurately each shift, including daily finished goods documentation
• Perform additional duties as assigned by a Supervisor, Shift Lead, or Operating Technician

Machine Operator Requirements:

• Previous machine operator experience preferred; experience in any manufacturing industry is acceptable
• Ability to operate production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality
• Ability to follow safety procedures and production standards
• Good communication skills and ability to work with supervisors, technicians, and production staff
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area
