Commercial Construction Field Equipment Operator

Salary: $20-32/hr DOE

We are looking to hire a Heavy Equipment Operator for a commercial contractor located in Medford, OR. They specialize in everything from small remodel projects to industrial and manufacturing structures. You’ll be successful if you have a positive attitude, and work well with a fast paced team. Think you have what it takes?

Your workday might look like this

• Operating Heavy Equipment
• Conduct Heavy Equipment safety checks, and preventative maintenance
• Maintain a safe work environment
• Identify possible safety hazards, and ensure issues are promptly addressed.
• Place underground pipe
• Assist with other construction activities as directed

You need to have

• 2+ years of civil experience with any of the following: excavator, backhoe, front end loader, tractor, or other heavy equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team and supervisors
• Ability to travel to out of town jobs
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• OSHA 10 or 30 a plus
• CDL Preferred
• Ability to set grades and to understand plans/specs is a HUGE plus

Work schedule is Monday through Fridays and overtime if needed. Benefits include travel incentives (including pay differentials and per diem), health and dental insurance, paid time off, and 401(k) Plan once hired by our client.
