Sales/Project Manager: 

Job Purpose:

To keep company production moving smoothly by quoting and placing orders for customers, overseeing production and on-time shipping, and keeping clients up to date on order status. To maintain  production numbers, and monitor company goal progression. To answer and assist callers and clients, and retain company files in neat order. To continually monitor and update the 3D print quote engine in order to keep business profitable but also competitive. Provide engineering expertise as it relates to designing for additive manufacturing.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

·         Answering customer queries on order statuses 

·         Answering any questions from clients or callers

·         Providing quotes for potential and current clients

·         Client file preparation and review

·         CAD modeling

·         Entering orders

·         Final build approval

·         QC tolerance/quality resolution

·         Researching materials and hardware for customer queries

·         Research and development of new 3D printing production methods and technics

·         Managing design clients

·         Fulfill client documentation requests (Certificate of Conformance, Material Safety Data Sheet, etc.)

·         Answer phone and route calls

·         Customer outreach

·         Responsible for the development and maintenance of the quoting engine

·         Quote follow up

·         Build data tracking

·         Overseeing overall production workflow, ensure that production flows smoothly without stopping

·         Additive Manufacturing Broker liaison

·         Provide input for company blog

·         Provide input for company newsletter

·         Approve independent contractor-generated content

·         Tour coordinator/guide

·         Scheduling customer/school tours

·         Outreach through speaking engagements

       Aid in machine scheduling

·         Perform Quality and Document Control Supplier Assessments

·         Act as back up for build creation, break out, and 2^nd ops for tumbling, dyeing, annealing, assembling, spray painting

·         Any further engineering requirements

 

 

Skills/Qualifications:

·         Must be detail oriented and be able to consistently perform the same tasks daily/weekly.

       Must have previous 3D printing experience 

·         Must have deep knowledge of all processes involved in production and be able to perform them, even those outside of this job’s regular responsibilities.  

·         Possess good organizational and interpersonal communication skills.

·         Must be proficient with computers and the Microsoft Office Suite of programs and 3D CAD software.

·         Must be able to direct and assign co-workers tasks in a clear manner.

·         Must be good at planning ahead.

·         Must be able to work well under pressure and work with little to no supervision.

·         Background in engineering or an engineering related field.

·         Must be able to read and generate engineering blueprints as well as other engineering related documentation.
