Weld Environment Parts Inspector / Light Labour – One Month Assignment – START IMMEDIATELY

Location: Stratford, ON
Pay: $17.60/hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday

Shift Options:
Days: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Afternoons: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Nights: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Express Employment Professionals – Guelph is hiring on behalf of a company located in Stratford, ON for Quality Inspectors / Light Labourers to join their team. This is a one-month assignment with full-time hours supporting production in a weld manufacturing environment.

We are looking for reliable and detail-oriented individuals who can work in a fast-paced environment and are available to start immediately.

Position Overview

Our client, a leading automotive manufacturer, is seeking Quality Inspectors / General Labourers to support production operations. This role involves inspecting automotive components to ensure they meet quality standards before shipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspection of automotive parts and components
• Identify defects such as scratches, dents, or irregularities
• Remove defective parts and report issues to supervisors
• Package and sort parts as required
• Follow quality standards and work instructions
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Complete documentation accurately when required

Qualifications & Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and visual inspection skills
• Good documentation skills and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to understand written and spoken English
• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks
• Occasional heavy lifting may be required
• Ability to work in a weld manufacturing environment
• Must be able to wear a bump cap for the entire shift
• Face shield may be required depending on work allocation
• Reliable transportation to Stratford
• Previous manufacturing, sorting, or QA experience is an asset

PPE Requirements

Associates must arrive with the following:
• 6-inch steel-toe safety boots (NO SHOES)

• Safety glasses
• Long-sleeve shirt
• Work pants that cover the ankles

Please note:

• No jogging pants, track pants, or skinny jeans permitted
• No jewelry allowed on the production floor

The following PPE will be provided:

• Bump cap
• Earplugs
• Safety vest / PPE kit
