Express Employment Professionals has teamed up with a home energy insulation specialist in Dunkirk/Jamestown/Olean. The Role as a crew leader will lead a dedicated 3-4 person crew in delivering top tier insulation and air sealing retrofits under NYSERDA programs.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily installations with precision and integrity: Achieve BPI/NYSERDA standards on every job (attic, wall, crawlspace insulation, dense-pack cellulose, air sealing) — creating safer, more comfortable spaces that honor our planet.
Champion safety relentlessly: Daily toolbox talks, full PPE enforcement, attic/crawlspace protocols — protecting your crew and customers like family.
Ensure flawless quality & compliance: Match in-house assessments exactly, photo-document everything for seamless rebates, and uphold our reputation above all.
Requirements
7–10+ years in trades, with 4+ in insulation/home performance (attics, walls, crawlspaces, dense-pack, air sealing). Local Chautauqua/Cattaraugus/Allegany experience is a huge plus — you know our building quirks and weather!
Rose through the ranks from installer — you can still jump in, demo perfect baffles, or drill-and-fill, earning instant respect.
Certifications (NYSERDA Superpowers): BPI Gold Standard (Building Analyst + Envelope Professional, bonus Healthy Home Evaluator), OSHA 30-Hour, EPA Lead-Safe Certified Renovator, NYSERDA Contractor Training (or ready to crush it fast).
Physically tough, positive vibe, clean record, tech-comfy (apps for photos/tracking).
Valid driver's license and a heart for helping others.
Monday - Thursday. Pay is DOE $30-$40/hr with all the necessary qualifications and certifications
