Position Summary A growing manufacturing services company is seeking a skilled and reliable Traveling Service Technician to provide installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting support for industrial equipment at customer sites. This role requires a candidate comfortable with frequent travel (approximately 75% of the time) and the ability to work independently in a variety of environments. The ideal candidate has a technical background, strong problem-solving skills, and experience working directly with equipment in field service settings.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair industrial equipment at customer sites
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic system issues
Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance
Document service activities and maintain accurate service reports
Communicate effectively with customers to provide updates and solutions
Support a safe work environment and follow company safety procedures
Requirements
Technical experience with industrial equipment, mechanical systems, or electronics
Comfortable traveling up to 75% of the time, including overnight stays
Ability to work independently and adapt to different customer environments
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (Driving Sprinter Van)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments
