Position Overview
Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Pallet Sorter for a warehouse facility in Woodburn, OR. This position involves sorting pallets, removing debris, and maintaining a clean and organized work area while meeting production goals. Candidates with forklift or electric pallet jack experience are strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort pallets by grade and stack to proper heights

• Remove trash, plastic, and debris from pallets before returning them to customers

• Remove plastic from bins and place it into a baler

• Secure full bales with wire and remove them from the baler when complete

• Load and unload materials from trailers manually

• Move pallets or materials around the yard or storage facility

• Inspect pallets and materials to ensure they meet quality standards

• Verify loads are safe and secure

• Complete production paperwork accurately

• Communicate with the Shift Lead or On-Site Manager as needed

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications

• Forklift or electric pallet jack experience preferred

• Basic math, reading, and communication skills

• Basic computer skills

• Ability to follow instructions and maintain accurate records

• Strong attention to detail and safety

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

• Willingness to work overtime if required

Physical & Work Environment

• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs repeatedly

• Frequent bending, stooping, walking, and standing for full shifts

• Work may be performed in varying temperatures and conditions

• PPE required including safety shoes, eye protection, and hearing protection where applicable

• Good balance and hand-eye coordination required
