Logistics Coordinator

Located in Cheyenne, WY

Salary: $24-$27

Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator! As the Logistics Coordinator, you are responsible for ensuring loads are efficiently scheduled and maintaining relationships with new and existing carriers.

 

Pay Rate: $24.00 - $27.00/hr. DOE

 

Job Responsibilities

• Tender out loads to carriers
• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing carriers
• Ensure POs are scheduled to ship and deliver on time
• Resolve/find solutions to problems related to transportation/logistics systems
• Prepare shipments documents
• Work with Warehouse Manager to fulfill POs and ensure shipment accuracy
• Assist in managing daily freight schedules

 

Job Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in logistics/shipping or a related field
• Strong multi-tasking skills
• Computer-savvy, previous experience with EDI and TMS a plus
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
