Overview: Local marina is needing a Customer Service Specialist. Serve as an ambassador by creating an excellent first impression with visitors and residents both in person and over the telephone. Responsible for greeting each person in a professional and gracious manner and providing appropriate information or referral needed for excellent customer service. This position performs general office duties as well as outdoor duties on the marina floats and at the fuel dock
JOB DUTIES:
May include but not limited to the following:
- Greeting and directing customers
- Answering calls
- Preparing contracts and walking new customers through moorage process
- Handling registration process of guest boaters
- Taking and processing payments
- Perform outdoor duties including assisting boaters with fueling process, checking boats on marina floats daily, performing meter reads, line assistance for boaters
- Maintain and update customer files
- Perform light cleaning duties in the office including vacuuming, dusting, and organizing
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- Prefer 1+ years' experience in customer service or hospitality
- Cash Handling and POS System experience
- Ability to type 55 WPM preferred with good grammar.
- Proficiency with Microsoft office suite specifically Word, Outlook and Excel
- Ability to use hands to handle, finger, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with multiple interruptions
- Ability to walk, bend, stoop and occasionally lift approximately 25lbs
- Ability to work outside as needed
Hours/Shift:
Full-time, MUST be available to work weekends 9:00AM-5:30PM
Working between Bremerton and Port Orchard Marinas, foot ferry pass provided.
Pay:
$20.00 / hour
